Greetings, all! I wanted to start this blog to inspire myself, and hopefully you too, to create new uses for old things. If you're anything like me, you have way more scraps of paper, old shopping bags, shirts that don't fit, mismatched socks, etc. than you know what to do with. You could recycle, throw away, or replace them, true...but what if their presence inspired you to do something crafty and creative? Not only would this creative endeavor allow for a little less waste in the world, but it would also provide you with a useful item you'd otherwise have to buy.
Speaking of buying things, I also want to play with making homemade recipes for foods I'd normally purchase. I've heard a suspicious rumor that it's often cheaper and healthier to do so...and I want to test it. So you'll find recipes like that in this blog as well.
